  • UAE’s 2nd Fitness and Swimming Championship for Special Needs as part of the Center’s 2nd Autism Awareness Week Series of Activities, April 2009, in honor of the global autism awareness month, under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan at Al Jazira Sports Club. 20 special needs centers and volunteer committees participated and 250 special needs players participated on a regional level, many who placed first in several activities.
  • Participation at the 3rd road race for the autism category, 2009, organized by Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care at Emirates Palace.
  • Participation in the 1st Sports Festival for the Western Region, May 2009, organized by Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care.
  • Participation the Annual Sports Festival for Al Waeda Center for Special Needs, 2009, in Al Ain and placing first across many activities.
